i paid for a package through Bell mobility and ever month the amount is going up. the first month i paid 52.28 and then it jumped to 341.74 for less than 3 weeks use. i was told the time was up and as you remeber i barely came on to explain what happened and then i was denied access after for several days. when i recieved my bill i was horrified to learn that brief time i was on was over 200 dollars.

i am told i am at the same usage already this month and only two weeks in and i never recieved any notice i had over went my time period this month.

technichition stated the high use times and i was in bed sleeping so it was determined my system has been hacked into and someone has gotten afree ride at my expense. although we are suppose to have fixed it it is too late for the bills i cannot pay as is.

i have two bills now that will run over 600 dollars for 6 weeks use. i do not have the money to pay and i have to also pay 400 to break the contract.

PLEASE EVERY ONE SIGNING CONTRACTS BEWARE THEY DO NOT INFORM YOU HOW EASY IT IS TO HACK YOUR SYSTEM . NOR DO THE COMPANIES CARE WHEN YOU TRY TO DEAL WITH THEM. I SPENT OVER 2 HOURS ON TH EPHONE AND IN THE END THEY PUT INTO A SYSTEM THAT JUST HAD A RING TONE FOR SEVERAL MINUTES TELL I FINALLLY HUNG UP. I TRIED TO END MY CONTRACT BUT I WAS NOT EVEN RESPECTED ON THIS MATTER EITHER.

i have no choice but to say my good buys CRYING HARD. i met some wonderfriedns here and i will miss you all dearly . i needed the internet to help my daughter but it appears her education i simply truely cannot aford. i am not smart enough to stop the hackers nor stop the viruses that plage this form of comunication. in five days our usage is used up from wha ti understand.

wheni told the technician today what we do on the internet he stated there is no way we should go over our monthly bill doing that but bell is billin gme for alot over it.

i hope whom ever has hacked my system is happy for they took so much from us.

That is so unfair. Dont give up disputing that with the company. They should be able to detect where the usage came from.....call them again and speak with a manager or supervisor that is not your fault.

Dare-we will miss u greatly. i agree that it is unfair. I know a little about computer-so if i may ask do u have any virus protection/secutiry currently on ur computer. there is even a way to make sure u only go to secure sites--going to insecure sites makes u more vulnerable into being hacked. If u got time-please pm me your issues/what security measures u have now-and i'll try to help--but company should really help u handle having an unsecure connection. Would u be able to go to a local library-internet cafe (even starbucks/some fast food places have Wi fi) to still get online. Im going to miss u deeply-and really hope u can stay in touch w. us-even if it is only through public internet like ur local library. Good luck & we'll miss u.Hugs-maria

do you have a laptop? you could go to an internet cafe or even Walmart and sit in the parking lot and use their internet or go to the library

Law you have to love it. In this case it will work for you, most people are not aware that if it's proven you didn't use your account you are only liable for the first 50 bucks no more. Check on that one.

Change passwords to something long upper and lower case. NEVER save your user name or passwords on your computer, i keep them all in a book.
I have some free tools you can use so ask if you want them.

if you have a home phone you can get internet for $10 or $15 a month using NetZero not sur ehow the bill got that high unless you pay for your internet per minute or somehting...

This saddens me too Dare. i hope you are still able to stay in touch through free internet/computers at your local library or if you have a labtop coffee shops, fast food places, cafes, target/walmart etc--i have internet at home-but sometimes just to get out of the house I;ll bring my labtop to Panera & eat lunch while working. If your daughter planned to do distance learning/college online-please look at the resources of your local library. I know where i live my local library has labtops/computers specially for people taking distance learning classes and for people job searching. They allow these individuals to be online for up to 3 hrs---whereas the computers that are for just searching the internet are only able to be used per hour. Distance leaning also often sends paper packets in addition to virtual classes-so your daughter may still be able to get her education online. .
